Autocorrelation analysis of HRV

The autocorrelation function of the RR-interval series calculates, which is a graph of the correlation coefficients obtained by its successive shift by one RR-interval for its own set. Since the autocorrelation function and the spectrum of the process are connected by a pair of Fourier transforms, the use of autocorrelation or spectral analysis is a matter of the researcher’s taste. The indicators used for practical purposes present in Table. 2.3.
