Acute pharmacological test
An acute pharmacological test is a natural step preceding the prescription of carnitine in the planning of therapy. It is well known that drugs have a class effect only at the population level. All medications may merely be intolerable by our patients. The patient may not tolerate one but tolerate another drug.
The effect of most (if not all) drugs for the systemic component and drugs largely depends on the regulation. Evaluation of the reaction of HRV in an acute pharmacological test on drugs has high clinical value. Not only about the selection of a patient’s medicinal product, but also concerning a broader diagnostic of the state of regulation, the medicinal product as one of the precision methods of influence on it.
An acute pharmacological test alters the response of HRV. The test with teofedrin shifts on the right and increase HF (lower left graph), whereas the test with anaprilin only increases it without shifting (lower right figure). It is interesting that the degree of peak increase in both cases was the same.
