Physical culture and sport

Physical culture and sport lead to positive changes in HRV. HR decreases, TP increases, and, most importantly, due to HF.
Metronization of respiration gives higher vagotonic reactions, which is reflected by the enhancement of the HF component of HRV.
After 20 minutes of physical exertion and the subsequent 20-minute rest, the response of HR to mental effort decreases.
The regular physical exercises of medium intensity, when there is an increase in the powers of HF and LF branches of the HRV, have a positive effect on the regulation. Selecting the pace and strength of regular physical exercises under the control of the HRV, one can find their parameters at which the results on improving the quality of regulation and the level of health of the subject become the best possible.
Overtraining is fraught with an increase in HR and a drop in HRV due to the HF component. It may explain the sudden death observed more often in professional sports with excessive loads.
The decrease in the performance of the overtrained to the level of untrained healthy has the consequence of an increase in HR. A full reduction of HF to baseline is not observed.
Detraining, deterioration of physical well-being, as a rule, are associated with an increase in HR and a drop in HRV, sluggish reactions to physical and other types of stress, such as an active tilt test, drug tests with beta blockers. These changes in HRV in detrained ones are a direct consequence and diagnostic sign of a drop in vegetative tonus.
Physical culture is an excellent tool for promoting health, increasing resources, of course, by strengthening and expanding the reserves of regulation. That is why it is an integral part of all lifestyle recommendations, which begins the treatment. In raising the level and reserves of health, regular physical exercises are paramount. As for sports, it often associates with the “test of strength” of all human systems, and therefore requires, like no other state, precise control. The importance of regulation in health implies mandatory power of HRV in athletes.
