8. Regulation in human health
Up to breathing according to Yabluchansky
In the first chapter of the book, we showed that the respiratory nuclei are directly related to the parasympathetic, and also, in different ways, sympathetic, humoral links of regulation. And, it turns out, with their activity they support all these links in dynamic equilibrium. On the one hand, the respiratory nuclei “hold in their hands” vegetative and other regulation, and, on the other hand, they come under the direct control of the cortex, more true of the mental “I.” By adjusting the breath, in terms of the phases of inhalation, breath retention between inhalation and exhalation, expiration, retention of breath between exhalation and inhalation, depth and speed of inhalation and exhalation, the mental “I” takes direct control of the vegetative and its ilk.
Volition exercises with breathing are supporting by the motivation for success. And all of them, it is important to emphasize, include rhythmic components.
The links between the respiratory and parasympathetic nuclei can be organized using the technology of HRV.
Here we come to breathing according to Yabluchansky – the rhythmic breathing chosen individually for this human, with physical exercises and without, with or without music, with interrupted music, … but necessarily under the control of HRV.
If the patient is not able to breathe according to …, Yabluchansky, recommend him (her) just walking or easy jogging. The volitional component of respiration is evident, rhythmic in walking itself, cyclical (rhythmic) in nature. Turn on control of HRV, and success is assured.
