Approach at heart rhythm disorder
There is a higher degree of stability of the space-time and spectral characteristics of HRV in AF than in the sinus rhythm.
Regardless of the basal HR, the coefficient of variation (var) of the average over 5-minute intervals of the cardiac cycle length does not exceed 0.05 for AF and 0.07 for sinus rhythm.
In the case of the AF, the characteristics with high stability are sdRR, pNN50 with a coefficient of variation of 0.09 and 0.03, respectively, intermediate – BCPI (var 0.14), TP BCP (var 0.14), power VLF ( var 0,2) and HF (var 0,13) and low – power LF (var 0,23).
In the case of a sinus rhythm, indicators with high stability, except for mRR, are not present; the intermediate degree stability includes BCPI (var 0.19) and low degree stability includes sdRR (var 0.4), pNN50% (var 0.23) and spectral characteristics: TP BCP (var 0.34), power HF (var 0.34), LF (var 0.38) and VLF (var 0.4).
