Obstructive sleep apnea severity tied to lipid levels or both of them tied to obesity severity

Dr. Ludger Grote of Sahlgrenska Academy in Gothenberg and colleagues on the base of a cross-sectional analysis of 8,592 patients in the European Sleep Apnea Database without diagnosed hyperlipidemia or use of lipid-lowering drugs made the conclusion that obstructive sleep apnea severity is independently associated with cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

Our conclusion is that both of them tied to obesity severity.
