Wolff–Parkinson–White syndrome

In 1930, Wolff, Parkinson, and White described eleven young patients with paroxysms of tachycardia and characteristic abnormalities on electrocardiography. The syndrome defines as a congenital condition with myocardial bridges between the atria and the ventricles that provide a pathway for paroxysms’ formation of reentrant tachycardias.
